Domed rooflights

Freelite Rooflight's manufacture a wide and extensive range (22 sizes -see table below) of standard domes, pyramids, 'hit and miss' ventilators and aluminium upstands to suit almost all dimensional circumstances and customer requirements.

They are suitable for all flat and low pitch roofs and will facilitate all modern roof membranes and finishes. These products are used extensively on new build projects and are especially accomodating on refurbishment contracts where Freelite Limited has enjoyed the trust and support of the building and roofing trades over many years.

This product is the most popular rooflight model experienced in the area of schools and institutional work in Ireland.

Domed rooflights are available in a number of different forms. Mk5 units comprise of extruded aluminium upstands which are insulated. These units can be fitted with 'hit' or 'miss' ventilators and can also be fitted directly to kerb adaptors fitted to builders upstands. MK4 units comprise of  aluminium upstands that are cold formed and can similarly be fitted with 'hit' or 'miss' ventilators. MK1 circular domes are also available in a range of sizes. Domes sold separately without upstands are provided as MK3 units and are suitable for fitting directly to a suitably formed builders upstand.

Domed units can be fitted with a number of glazing options. Single, double or triple skinned units are available and these can comprise of different combinations of materials such as thermoformed plastic domes or pyramids in clear or diffused polycarbonate. Where security is a consideration, polycarbonate is the desired option and is designated anti-vandal. Burglar bars are also available if required. Where privacy is important, opaque or textured domes or pyramids can be offered.
